Terms and Conditions

**Rates, Conditions, and Booking Rules:**

  • House price remains the same, regardless of the number of guests
  • Refundable Rate: Full price
  • Non-Refundable Rate: 10% discount from full price
  • Minimum nights bookable: 3
  • Maximum nights bookable: 14
  • Moderately flexible cancellation terms
  • Full refund up to 30 days before check-in
  • Full refund within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in for bookings within 30 days of check-in
  • 50% refund up to 7 days before check-in – No refund after this time frame

 

**House Rules:**

  • Check-in window: From 3 PM to 3 AM the following day
  • Check-out time: 10 AM
  • Pets allowed upon request (small to medium-sized domesticated dogs and cats, equal to or less than 10 kilograms)
  • Smoking is not allowed inside the apartments
  • Events and parties with music and alcohol are prohibited
  • Maximum of 2 guests for dinners or lunches upon request and host’s approval
  • Quiet hours: From 9 PM to 8 AM

**Check-in Conditions:**

  • Self-check-in with instructions sent at least 48 hours before check-in
  • Keys in a lockbox, code provided
  • Photo of identification document required to complete self-check-in.

**Number of Guests:**

  • The Knight of Birgu: Maximum 4 guests
  • Blue Eye: Maximum 3 guests
  • The Knight of Birgu house will soon add a sofa bed in the living room, increasing the guest capacity to 6.

**Reservations an Payments:**

  • Reservations possible from 12 months before up to 24 hours before check-in
  • Here should be added a setting with a percentage of additional chargeable balance in multiple instalments. Thus, for bookings valued at €1500 or less, the client pays the full amount at the time of booking. If the booking value is between €1501 and €3000, the client pays 50% immediately at the time of booking, while the remaining 50% will be charged after 72 hours from the booking. If the booking is made within 72 hours of check-in, the client pays the full amount at the time of booking.

**Penalties:**

  • We do not request any security deposit for potential damages to the property in advance. However, the host will take photos inside the property before the guest’s check-in to ensure evidence that everything is in optimal condition. If any damages to items or the property itself are found after the guest’s check-out, or if any items are lost, the host reserves the right to request reimbursement from the guest for such damages. The reimbursement amount can range from €10 to a maximum of €1000 (for example, a broken television could result in a reimbursement request of €400), depending on the extent of the damage caused (for example, a broken television could potentially lead to a reimbursement request from the guest ranging between €250 and €450).
