Best Airbnb we have ever stayed in (we have stayed in plenty worldwide). Beautiful home with an unparalleled view from the terrace which was decked out for great private breakfast and dinners!! We loved our time up there! Birgu is the best place to stay in central Malta - history, quiet in the evening, plenty of places to eat in Victory square (that the apartment backs onto), and close to St Angelo’s fort - historically insurmountable even for the Ottomans in the 1550-60’s. Davide was a fantastic host and stocked up the place with plenty of snacks and items that made our first night a breeze (even with an infant). We are coming back!

This was a wonderful experience. Davide turned this place into a true gem. It felt like a private boutique hotel. Super easy communication, and lots of nice personal touches/extras that just shows how great of host Davide is: breakfast food, coffee, nicely folded towels etc. We used the place as a home base to explore Malta and it felt perfect. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the house, but it looked like it would be great fit to work remote as well, which I hope I get a chance to do in the future because this place was such a nice find! Thank you.

We had a wonderful experience staying in Davide’s beautifully restored Maltese town house! Davide is such a generous and welcoming host! He left us lots of delicious food, treats, drinks, and was just really helpful and kind all around! He gave me helpful taxi advice, as I was worried about getting a taxi at 4 am, and he double checked to make sure we’d have options! Thanks again!

Davide’s house is one of the best places I/we have ever stayed. A beautiful old Maltese house with three balconies (two closed one open) and a stunning roof top overlooking the city and the beautiful main square in Birgu. Davide made it almost like a hotel experience (each room has its own private bathroom and there’s another one downstairs). The stairs weren’t a problem at all even with two older parents. There is everything you need in the house. We are happy we decided to stay in Birgu, a great location for exploring 3 Cities and Valletta. It’s a two-minute walk to the taxi boats to Valletta and a 10 minute walk to the ferry. Davide is super friendly and communicates very fast. All in all highly recommended! Thank you, Davide - we would stay here again for sure!

An exceptional place and an exceptional host. The house has been renovated to a high standard, it is located in a lovely area of Birgu and Davide’s recommendations meant that we made the most of our stay. If you want to stay in a traditional Maltese house and soak in the Maltese culture, this is definitely the right place. Definitely top of my list for the next time I visit Malta!

Davides place was perfect for our needs in every way. A lovely old property and very well presented with everything we required for our stay and in a great position overlooking Victory square which is in the center of Birgu with its restaurants and cafes. A few minutes walk to the marina presented us with numerous more great restaurants, a few bars and the water taxi's which took you to Valletta for just €2! We cannot reccommend Davide's place enough. Great host who was extremely helpful and attentive.
