This is a lovely apartment in a great location. Inside the space is generous and really well equipped. Barbara and Davide also leave plenty of food and drink too. Things like a bottle of wine and plenty of tea and coffee are great but there are little treats too and really usefully there is everything you need to cook such as oil, salt and a selection of spices. The wifi is excellent- I mention this as it isn’t easy to provide in a property on multiple levels with thick walls. The roof terrace is fantastic with views over the water to Birghu and Valletta. It seems to get sun all day so the shade over the table is very useful if you eat up there. Barbara and Davide were great hosts and were always responsive. The location is great. You are one flight of stairs from the Senglea waterfront where there are restaurants at a range of budgets. The ferry to Valletta is 8-10 minutes walk away and there is a bus to Valletta too.

This was a 5-star stay all round. THE LOCATION : The house is in the perfect location for exploring Malta. It looks over the Main Square in Birgu, just a few steps from the Maritime Museum, the Inquisitor's Palace and St. Lawrence's Catholic Church. Perhaps more importantly, it is also only steps from a shop and lots of restaurants. Valletta is easy to reach - the ferry runs every 30 minutes and is 5 minutes from the house. THE HOUSE: The house itself is wonderful. Very traditional, but sizeable with a great rooftop where you can sit and watch the world go by. THE HOSTS: Barbara & Davide could not have been easier to communicate with, and Davide was there to greet us on check-in. We would love to come to Malta again, and will definitely stay with Barbara & Davide again if we do.

Davide and Barbara were amazing hosts (you can tell they really enjoy hosting) and their property is absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations. We were welcomed personally by Davide and Barbara along with a bottle of wine and muffins on the kitchen table. The photos in the listing are exactly what you find in person and location of the property is steps away from many restaurants, markets and the harbor. Davide was very knowledgeable of the area and gave some great recommendations for restaurants and things to do. Nights were very quiet with amazing city views from the roof top terrace - perfect for drinking a glass of wine at the days end. I highly recommend this property.
